This week’s crochet ideas you can't miss…
Sweater No. 39.
The lovely balloon sleeves and the textured stitches are a wonderful combination. The orange colorway the creator chose is a standout!
It’s called ‘La Mia Baby Boom’, color No. 2533.
The beauty of a Camellia.
An enchanting, whimsical and romantic crochet sweater for a little one.
The raglan sleeves with delightful ruffles is sure to become a cherished favorite. Reminiscent of a fairy tale world!
A poncho with the comfort of a weighted blanket.
Do you ever wish you could wear your weighted blanket to dinner? The designer Samantha Brunson created this so she could do just that! The Poncho is a quick project and the stitches are easy to memorize with no seams to worry about.
Tunisian sunset.
A glorious colorful blanket with gradual color shifts reminiscent of sunsets.
The checked design is created with strips of Tunisian crochet with color changes in square blocks. The linen stitch border looks spectacular!

A groovy granny square backpack.
This hip-looking backpack uses 7 granny squares which you may have already have! Or you can crochet them from scratch.
A fully functional bag which is a great size for everyday use.
Snuggs.
These are warm and comfy slippers, ideal for wearing by the fire with a crochet project and some hot chocolate!
To make them, you first make a few granny squares, then join them and make a simple toe. After that, you make the soft lining in parts, stitch those parts together, and attach them inside the slippers.
Diametro pillow.
The square segmented by two colors creates a modern look for this pillow.
You use the same color for the entire pillow, then, add detailing with an accent color, which is woven into the front side after crocheting is complete.
The color choice is yours to compliment your home decor!
Royal cardigan.
The repeating stitches give a beautiful texture in this size inclusive cardigan. It looks beautiful and could be dressed up or worn simply with pants.
An Irish adventure.
All worked in rows, not in the round, this gorgeous bag features a different cable design for the front of the flap, the back and front underneath the flap.
Using Foundation Half Double Crochet, Bobble and Post Stitches.
The flannel forest beanie.
Using color changes to create a plaid fabric, this is a cute hat. Suitable for crocheters who have had experience with changing colors within the same row.
Whirlwind.
The freeform crochet motif is made in one piece without cutting the yarn with the exception of the last round. The original design used a multi-colored yarn. However, you can switch yarn after a round or use a solid color - it's up to you!
True north.
This is a stash-busting project and a perfect way to get through bits and pieces of yarn ends. It creates a fabulous floral square with gorgeous features.

How to do the front post double crochet stitch.
I really appreciate how crochet experts slow down their movements when demonstrating a stitch technique! Hope Corner Farm Crochet’s video tutorial for the Front Post Double Crochet Stitch is very helpful.
Hand-carved rustic hooks.
Taking their beauty from the shape of the fine branch stem, the grain and of the wood and the texture of the bark, these are unique hooks. Not one is the same!
How to crochet reverse single crochet.
I used this option to finish a mosaic crochet cushion. It creates a lovely edge that is simple to do. Follow Donna’s quick guide in her video.
Crochet a wavy shell stitch 3D border.
Such a stunning finish with this Wavy Shell stitch border. Use it on baby blankets, Afghans, shawls and scarves.
Jazz up your jeans.

What does a crocheter do with an empty box?
You might be thinking that a crocheter would fill an empty box with yarn but no, not in this instance. Check out this tiny amigurumi room!
Brioche crochet.
This helpful video steps you through the Leaf Motif in Tunisian Crochet Brioche. The results are stunning!
Aussie adorableness.
This clever crocheter from Melbourne made Amigurumi versions of some famous Australian animals, from the Koala to one of my favorites, the Echidna.
As mentioned in the article:
“In her series of Australian animals, Parker presents a thematic selection of ‘pieces made with love for you to love to pieces.’ Made entirely by hand and composed of cotton and wool yarn, each Aussie animal is a one-of-a-kind companion and ideal snuggle buddy.
The collection is predominantly composed of Australia's most iconic creatures, like cute kangaroos (complete, of course, with joeys nestled in their pouches), cuddly koalas, and lovable sea turtles.
In addition to these well-known wild things, however, Parker also crochets some of the continent's more underrated inhabitants. From adorable owls to surprisingly sweet and spiny anteaters, Parker's series captures the diversity of Australia's animal kingdom in an adorably stylized way.”
Hope this issue has inspired your next crochet project!
